Summer Baking Ideas: Banana Bread Bundt Cake

I know, I know, it's hot outside and you're probably not in the mood to turn on the oven.

But there's a super simple way to turn any Cherryvale Farms baking mix into a delicious summer treat: just bundt it!

For the 4th of July last week, I mixed up our Banana Bread Mix and poured it into a bundt pan instead of the typical bread pan. It took about 35 minutes to bake, instead of the normal 55 minutes, and developed a gorgeous crust.

After letting it cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes, I inverted the Banana Bread Bundt and started decorating!

First I glazed the top of the bundt with a super easy powdered sugar glaze (recipe here) to which I added a little blue food coloring. Then I sprinkled the top of the glaze with red and white sprinkles and filled the center of the bundt with blueberries (my favorite summer fruit!).

All in all, this beautiful Banana Bread Bundt went from box to my dessert plate in about an hour. Pretty patriotic, right?

This recipe is a perfect example of how simply you can transform any of our delicious mixes into gorgeous desserts your family will love.

Now go Make It. Bake It. Love It.

Cheers,
